Pop Up Messages by My Little Cakepop, made in house to fit our Disc Cake Pop Mold. Perfect for cake pops, cookies, cupcakes and more. Messages are 1.45" at their widest or tallest point. Round cutter used is 1 3/4" in diameter.
Create a raised 3D messages using Sugarpaste/Fondant (we recommend Wilton fondant), modelling chocolate and Gum paste, watch video. This is the opposite of an embosser. The messages pops up not in!
Instructions:
We recommend Wilton Fondant for best results. Roll the first color of fondant into the lettering using a plastic roller, scraping off excess. If any excess gets stuck, gently wipe with a damp paper towel until only the lettering grooves are filled. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes before applying top piece of fondant. Roll out the top piece to cover the Pop Up Message, ensuring it’s tacky (not dry). Gently peel the fondant away from the disc, rotating as needed. If it doesn’t stick, it may be too dry—work the fondant a bit more before retrying. The fondant should be tacky enough to adhere to the top piece without sticking to the mold.
Hand wash with warm water. Do not soak and do not use abrasives on acrylic. You can use toothpaste to clean inside grooves if needed or a slightly damp cloth with a very small amount of rubbing alcohol to remove minor scratches.
