2 cup capacity is great for melting chocolate. Due to it's flexible nature you can squeeze the bottom to help melt the chocolate evenly. We recommend filling with chocolate, put in microwave for 30 seconds, remove, squeeze bottom to move chocolate around and reheat for another 30 seconds. Continue until chocolate is fully melted. Moving the chocolate around every 30 seconds prevents it from over heating in one spot and ruining the entire batch of chocolate.
